NYC MAYOR'S CUP CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS OCTOBER 6 AT VAN CORTLANDT PARK


TOP HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY RUNNERS TO COMPETE IN THE NYC MAYOR’S CUP CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS ON Saturday OCTOBER 6  AT VAN CORTLANDT PARK IN THE BRONX
   
   
    On October 6, New York City’s top high school cross country runners from the Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL), Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA) and independent schools will compete in the ninth annual NYC Mayor’s Cup Cross Country Championships. Approximately 1,500 student athletes from across the City will compete for the title of “Best in the City.” The championship boys’ race will take place at 2:45pm, followed by the championship girls’ race at 3pm on Saturday, October 6, at Van Cortlandt Park, 6121 Broadway, Bronx.

    The NYC Mayor’s Cup series, which encompasses a variety of sports events throughout the year, is organized by NYC & Company, the City’s marketing, tourism and partnership organization. The series brings together student athletes from public, Catholic and independent schools to compete for the title of “Best in the City.” For more information, visit facebook.com/nycmayorscup.
