“Informational Session on Proposed Metro-North Service to Penn Station”
The Bronx Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with The Bronx Borough President's Office and MTA Metro-North Railroad will hold an information session regarding a proposal to introduce railroad service in the east Bronx along Amtrak's right-of-way. On Monday, March 11th at 5:30pm, a seminar will provide Bronx residents with an update on Metro-North's ongoing Penn Station Access environmental assessment, including concepts for four proposed stations that would serve Morris Park, Co-op City, Hunts Point and Parkchester and provide connections to Penn Station, Westchester & Connecticut.
