Former State Senator Malcolm Smith Found Guilty

Former New York State Senate Leader Malcolm Smith has been found guilty of Bribery charges in trying to secure the Republican line in a run for mayor of the city in 2013.

Smith now faces up to 45 years in jail for his conviction. There was no date set for his sentencing.

So what does the fact that Carl Heastie did not serve on Jury Duty have with the conviction of Malcolm Smith, who by the way was in the state senate and not the state assembly.

Come back with the record of Dean Skelos when it came to serving on Jury Duty, then you may have something.
