NOT JUST HOOPS - CAPACITY FUND GRANT WINNER

Not Just Hoops is a Brooklyn-based community group that offers health & wellness and recreation programs for youngsters. The group received a Capacity Fund Grant to help organize their October 2020 Children With Special Needs Festival, which was meant to raise awareness in the neighborhood.

Held in Weeksville Playground, the festival featured music, games, and contests, including pumpkin decorating. Not Just Hoops used their Capacity Fund Grant to pay for banners, arts & craft items, refreshments, prizes, and COVID-19 supplies, which helped make the festival a great success, attracting 30 parents and children.

Interested in funding your own park project? Apply for our Capacity Fund Grant. The application deadline is March 22. Find out everything you need to know at an upcoming webinar. See below.
