City Comptroller John C. Liu stated the following today on efforts to reach an agreement on teacher evaluations:
“The
DOE and UFT apparently came to an agreement, which the Mayor then
scuttled – putting politics ahead of students and teachers. The Mayor's
‘my
way or the highway’ edicts have hurt New Yorkers enough already.”
