ENJOYING FAMILY DAY IN DISTRICT 17TH
There’s no better place to be on the weekend than the 17th; today was no exception!
I was thrilled to kick off the morning at Rainbow Garden of Life & Health where we unveiled new ADA-accessible permeable paver walkways made possible by a $430k allocation from my office
On my next stop, I was pleased to be joined by District Leader, Freddy Perez, Jr., as I stopped by the Woodstock Terrace Family Day.
It was great to see so many familiar faces!
I finished the day at Jackson Houses’ Family Day where we caught some great action on the court, and the kids had a blast riding ponies and jumping in the bouncy houses.

BACK TO SCHOOL AGAIN!
Back-to-school season is upon us! 
In preparation for the start of the school year, I was thrilled to join News 12 The Bronx today to hand out backpacks and other school supplies to our youngest Bronxites.
We also found the perfect way to beat the heat; Ben & Jerry's ice cream!

AFFORDABLE HOUSING!
126 units of 100% affordable housing, St. Anselm Apartments will provide families with affordable rents ranging from 40% to 70% AMIs.
Despite the heat, crews are working hard to ensure a Fall 2025 opening.
