Hi Friend, this past weekend we kicked off the abundant harvest season with a Garden Party at GrowNYC’s Teaching Garden on Governors Island.
GrowNYC Garden Party Celebrates The Season!
In celebration of harvest season and all the amazing work GrowNYC does year-round to make our city greener and more sustainable, we invited our Friend’s of GrowNYC to a Garden Party!
Attendees had the opportunity to enjoy light bites and beverages, and take an exclusive tour of our 1-acre urban farm on Governors Island. We offered guest a chance to roll up their sleeves with activities like a propagation station, bag decorating for our donation-based farm stand, and opportunities to take home fresh produce from the garden!
