As New York City prepares for Thursday’s ticker-tape parade celebrating the New York Knicks’ National Basketball Association (NBA) championship, Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani today launched nyc.gov/knicks, a new website with information on how New Yorkers can attend the free public parade along the iconic “Canyon of Heroes.”

The parade will kick off at 10 a.m. near Battery Park and travel north along Broadway before arriving at City Hall. Featuring Knicks players, City officials and special guests, the parade is free and open to the public. No tickets are required. The new website provides information about the parade route, timing, viewing locations, transportation options, what attendees can expect and other important details.

The website will continue to be updated throughout the week with the latest information for New Yorkers and visitors planning to attend Thursday’s parade.

“From a playoff run that left New Yorkers breathless to a tip-in that will be talked about for decades, the Knicks have earned a hero’s welcome. We have dreamed of this moment for generations. This Thursday, our city will rise to the occasion,” said Mayor Mamdani. “Longtime fans will stand side-by-side with first-time viewers to cheer on a team that embodies the grit and resilience that define this team and this city. Visit nyc.gov/knicks for everything you need to know about joining this historic celebration.”
