Permits have been filed for a 12-story residential building at 220 East 179th Street in Tremont, The Bronx. Located between Grand Concourse and Anthony Avenue, the lot is near the Tremont Avenue subway station, served by the B and D trains. Yitzi Salamon is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 114-foot-tall development will yield 84,655 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 80 residences with a total 128 residences on the lot, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 661 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and a 40-foot-long side yard.
Nikolai Katz Architect is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in May for the two-story residential structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
