Today, Strong and Safe New York, a super PAC supporting Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman for Governor, released the following statement in response to new reporting that Kathy Hochul's campaign is being funded by suspected Medicaid fraudsters.
"Kathy Hochul isn't just soft on fraud, she's funded by it. The same adult daycare operators who billed Medicaid $32 million for patients who don't exist wrote checks straight into her campaign account. Empty rooms, empty chairs, and a governor who cashed the checks anyway.
"Kathy Hochul built a pay-to-play machine off the backs of sick and elderly New Yorkers, and taxpayers are the ones getting robbed. New York can't afford four more years of a governor who's for sale. Vote Blakeman."
