Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 2419 Crotona Avenue in Belmont, The Bronx. Located between East 187th Street and East 189th Street, the lot is near the Fordham Road subway station, served by the B and D trains. Doug Pelinkovic is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 36,994 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 54 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 685 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a 20-foot-long rear yard and four enclosed parking spaces.
John Backos of Grid Drafting and Consulting LLC is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in early 2026 for the two-story structure on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
