State Senator Gustavo Rivera will host his annual Back to School Celebration with a Backpack Giveaway and Resource Fair on Thursday, August 13 at St. James Park.
Thanks to the contributions of many community partners, families in Senator Rivera's district will have access to:
- Free backpacks, and
- A variety of health screenings, resources and services from local providers
- Fun activities for children
Backpacks are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
This event is free and open to the public.
