Dear neighbors,

This year, I have the honor of presenting our 2022 Woman of Distinction award to Tracie Lucas Lord. Mrs. Lord is an exemplary public servant who has devoted her lifework to supporting our community.

An active and concerned community member, assuming roles such as Volunteer Coordinator for PATHHSEO, Inc. In so doing, she assists in the serving of 750 monthly meals, distributing 250 weekly pantry bags, and distributing clothing, school supplies and PPE to community members. Additionally, she assists in the cultivation of a community garden, coordinating health fairs, distributing Thanksgiving Dinners, and hosting an annual Christmas celebration for neighborhood children.

In addition to volunteering, Mrs. Lord’s civic engagement includes serving as a Board Member of Community Board #3 and the South Bronx Emergency Network (SBEN D3). She is Secretary for the Citizens Emergency Response Network (CERN) and the 42nd Precinct Council.
