Intelligent, savvy and multi-talented writer, director and producer Vlad Yudin of the Vladar Company has partnered with ARCANA Comics on the sci-fi graphic novel ‘HEAD SMASH,’ a sci-fi thriller penned by Erik Hendrix and illustrated by Dwayne Harris. The highly anticipated comic will premiere at this year’s New York Comic Con Convention at an exclusive panel on Thursday, October 11th at 7:30PM in hall 1A08 at the Javits Center in Midtown Manhattan. Vlad along with Sean O'Reilly (founder of ARCANA) will debut the special 1st edition of the graphic novel to the public in addition to discussing the film adaption which is currently in development.

SMASH is set in the oppressed city of Ares, where violence reigns
supreme and the only means of survival is to join The Horde, a
paramilitary organization that keeps the peace through absolute

Yudin
is the owner of The Vladar Company; a media and entertainment
production company he co-founded along with his production partner,
Edwin Mejia in 2008. The Russian born filmmaker is best known for
producing and directing the critically acclaimed biopic about rapper Lee
Rios, better known as “Big Pun” in celebration to the Bronx-born,
Grammy Nominated artist in the docufilm BIG PUN: THE LEGACY (2008). He
has also been praised for LAST DAY OF SUMMER, his second film which he
wrote, directed and produced starring DJ Qualls (HUSTLE & FLOW) and
Nikki Reed (TWILIGHT).
