Visit and learn more about our next wonder- Van Cortlandt Lake- in our continuing series of the Seven Wonders of Van Cortlandt Park. This family friendly event will include plenty of hands-on activities and an opportunity to relax on the deck of the Van Cortlandt Golf House and enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. Activities include the collection and identification of aquatic invertebrates, fly casting demos/lessons by L.L. Bean and a tour around the lake. Finger Foods and Refreshments will be served. At this event, BJ’s Wholesale (which will be opening on  Broadway & W. 238th in August) will be selling discounted memberships and FVCP will receive $5 for each membership sold.    4.
