State Senator Reverend Ruben Diaz today announced its support for Hector Ramirez for District 86 State Assembly, promising to do everything in his power to ensure his victory in the elections of September 9.
"I've known for a long time Ramirez and I know will go to Albany to represent the people of his district with dignity and determination. During the time I've been in the State Legislature, I have seen the need to send representatives who will fight to solve the problems of our neighborhoods and not to serve as pawns of special interests. Ramirez is the best choice in this election and I urge you, if you want a positive change in their community on Tuesday not stay home and go to vote for Hector Ramirez "said Senator Diaz.
Ramirez has extensive service vocation. In 1992, Ramirez was elected in District 86 Leader of the Assembly and was re-elected to that position three times. As district leader, Ramirez served a densely populated area, covering the neighborhoods of University Heights, Tremont and Morris Heights in the Bronx, as party leaders unpaid community liaison and government agencies, grassroots organizations, officials and Democrat. Their hard work has given him a reputation as an honest and responsible leader.
