It is an honor to receive support from the same party that endorsed Senator Bernie Sanders,” said Abreu. “Working families are the backbone of our City’s economy, and yet the hard-working families of our communities, and in the 14th district continue to be underrepresented and underserved. As our community’s next city councilmember, I will fight for the traditionally disadvantaged, and live up to the values of the Working Families Party every day.”
