According to the NYC Department of Health, due to a vaccine shortage, all first dose appointments made for Thursday, Jan. 21 through Sunday, Jan. 24 at their COVID-19 Vaccine Hubs will be rescheduled to the same time next week as the City deals with vaccine shortages. The COVID-19 vaccine is available to certain groups in NYC. The following groups have recently become eligible:
  •    People ages 65 and older
  •    Teachers and education workers
  •    First responders
  •    Public safety workers
  •    Public transit workers
