Dear Neighbor,
These last few weeks have been full of excitement both at City Hall and in the community. On Thursday, Mayor Adams discussed the long-awaited Bronx Metro-North Plan that will bring integrative planning and new infrastructure investments to the Bronx. The new in-district Metro-North stations include Morris Park and Parkchester/Van Nest; our neighbors in Co-Op City and Hunts Point will also be home to this expansion. During this week’s Stated Meeting, I was happy to co-prime three incredible bills; details on these bills are below.
In addition to the wonderful happenings at City Hall, several holiday events will take place over the next few weeks. From this afternoon’s Holiday Trolley with the Morris Park Bid and Tree Lighting with the Westchester Square BID, there is much to enjoy with our families and friends. I encourage you all to refer to this email for your holiday planning, and I look forward to seeing you all this holiday season.
