Greenmarket is turning 50 and we would love to celebrate with you. Please join us for a special evening of live music, delicious food, beer garden, and activities for all ages as we honor five decades of Greenmarket farmers markets in New York City. 
Since 1976, GrowNYC Greenmarkets have connected local farmers with New Yorkers, shaping the city’s vibrant food culture and expanding access to fresh, sustainably-grown food. For millions, the Greenmarket is far more than a place to shop, it is a vital connection to the seasons and your community.
This free, public event will celebrate five decades of the iconic Greenmarkets with an evening market featuring live music from the Jazz Foundation, food and refreshments available for purchase, and a short celebratory program.

Can’t join? You can still join the celebration by donating $50 to GrowNYC or sharing your favorite market moments, unforgettable experiences, or expound on how the market has impacted you over the years. Your stories will help us honor this incredible community and the people who’ve made it so special.
