What: Assemblyman Luis Sepulveda, Community Board 6, and other elected officials will hold a press conference to remember the victims of the Happy Land Social Club Fire, which occurred on March 25^th 1990.  The fire, which was started deliberately, killed 87 people inside of the nightclub.  It was the second largest mass murder in New York City history and one of the deadliest fires in the city since the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire 79 years earlier.  In addition to the press conference, a memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 7 PM

at Saint Thomas Aquinas Church, 1900 Crotona Parkway.  A candlelight vigil will be held following the mass.
