STATE SENATOR RUBEN DIAZ TO CELEBRATE “THREE KINGS DAY ” FOR THE CHILDREN OF OUR COMMUNITY


  On Saturday, January 4th, State Senator Rev. RubĂ©n DĂ­az along with Bronx Borough President RubĂ©n DĂ­az Jr., Assemblyman Marcos Crespo, Assemblyman Luis Sepulveda, The New York Hispanic Clergy Organization and other elected officials, will come together to provide the children of our community a Three Kings Day Celebration.  The first 600 children between the ages of  1- 9 years old, will receive  a toy and a book bag. “There will also be live music and entertainment for the children,” stated Senator DĂ­az.
 
This activity will take place : (Children must be present in order to receive a free toy.  At 12:00 pm Saturday,  January 4, 2013 in Public School #5 located at 564 Jackson Avenue (corner of 149th St.)

New York Hispanic Clergy Organization

  The New York Hispanic Clergy Organization held their 24th annual Ministers Banquet last week. The NYHC honored Bishop Abelardo Batista, Apostle Rene Cruz, Rev. Pedro Olivieri, Rev. Mirna Padro, Mr. Pedro Sanchez, and Colonel Jaun Bautista Jimenez Reinoso who were recognized for their outstanding commitment to the people of New York City. Senator Reverend Ruben Diaz Sr.is the president of the NYHC which meant that many elected officials up to U.S. Senator Charles Schumer were in attendance, as well as over 700 other supporters of the NYHC.
