Take a look at what we’ve been up to!
Adem D. Celaj street co-naming
It was an honor for my office to pave the way for Adem D. Celaj’s street co-naming!
The emotions, words, and feelings that filled the corner of Bronxdale & Kinsella will forever be embodied in Adem D. Celaj way!
Marmorato visits PS 72
What a great event at PS 72 yesterday with Superintendent Jennifer Joynt and NYC Reads to help our local youth improve their reading skills.
We learned all about practical strategies for literacy support at home, alongside PS 72 staff, parents, students and community members!

A huge thank you to Aleks from AAOHA for always providing fresh and delicious food and to the Van Nest Neighborhood Alliance for all their hands on deck!
NYC Parks cleans up Country Club garden’s main triangle
A big thank you to the NYC Parks horticulture team for this amazing cleanup at Country Club garden's main triangle near Providence Rest last week!
Multiple constituents had brought the idea of beautifying the garden to our office's attention, and we are very happy with the job that NYC Parks has done to make this area beautiful for our District 13 residents and seniors!
Keeping Up with the Community!
Another great job by NYC Department of Parks & Recreation — they removed a giant tree stump, which had been stuck in the ground for 2 months, and helped restore this sidewalk on Pelham Parkway near the New York Institute for Special Education.
A big thank you to NYC Parks for eliminating this hazard, making sure our sidewalks are safe for all pedestrians!
It’s always a nice thing when you’re driving through the district and you see ACE out keeping our streets clean!
Thank you, ACE. You really are an amazing organization.
Thanking NYC Department of Sanitation! Over the weekend, DSNY removed a trashed and abandoned suitcase left on Bruckner Boulevard in Pelham Bay.
Thanking DSNY once again for keeping our communities clean and free of litter!
