Election Day is November 5--and almost here! Our newsletter explains how New York makes voting easy. Please read on for info on voting by mailvoting earlyvoting on election dayand registering to vote in the first place.

All New Yorkers can now request to vote by mail. You do not need a reason and can request a ballot online. 

To request a mail-in ballot, visit www.vote.nyc/RequestBallot.

Mail-in ballot requests for the General Election must be received by October 26.

Mail-in ballots must be postmarked no later than November 5 for the General.

You can also bring your mail-in ballot to your early voting location, or deliver it in person to the Board of Elections.

Depending on where you live, your early voting site may be different from your normal Election Day polling site.
