Only a two hour notice of a change of venue for an important meeting such as this where I was told candidates were to be interviewed.

Something does not seem right, as it did not the first time of the DM Selection Committee  after the retirement of CB 8 District Manager Patricia Manning who retired on December 31st 1016. After the selection of a politically connected person to replace Ms. Manning, said person quit a few months later. 

The second and completely different DM selection committee did not find a candidate, and choose to reopen the process. That DM selection committee is now in the midst of interviewing candidates again. Tonight however there were three new members of the committee sitting in on the Executive Session interviews, the Chair, Vice-Chair, and Treasurer of CB 8. 

If the officers of CB 8 do not think the DM selection committee can do their job, then the officers should relieve the current selection committee of the job and choose the next DM themselves.
