The AOC March Survey is a Courage For Change Solicitation - Do Not Donate to the Courage to Change PAC, because it is Going to People like Samelys Lopez in the 15th Congressional District, Not AOC.

We received an e-mail from Team AOC, but first we want to dissect that e-mail.

While it looks like a survey, when we took the survey we saw a solicitation for the Courage to Change PAC which has already given $20,000.00 to the Samelys Lopez 15th Congressional District campaign. We have been unable to question Ms. Lopez on how the money is being spent, because her boyfriend Michael Beltzer seems to also be her campaign manager preventing us from interviewing Ms. Lopez.

We have told that Mr. Beltzer may be on the Lopez payroll, but we do know from the AOC campaign that Mr. Beltzer is using the AOC campaign office for his 2021 City Council race, and has solicited donations to his city council race from workers and others in the AOC campaign office. It

It is for those reasons that we ask that you do not donate to the Courage to Change PAC. As long as there is no accounting of how Ms. Lopez is spending the PAC money, or giving an interview to this reporter. We have questions about a scheme by Ms. Lopez and Mr. Beltzer to solicit funds in the name of candidates without disclosing where the money went. According to Mr. Beltzer "As long as we kept the amount below $1,000.00 we did not have to file anything". There are questions as to the Bronx Progressives club M. Lopez was running as the entire executive board stepping down one day before she announced her candidacy for the 15th Congressional seat. No wonder Mr. Beltzer won't let me interview Ms.Lopez, I have to many questions about her and her relationship to Mr. Beltzer.

Here is the e-mail we received. the link has been removed.

As you’ve probably heard, AOC recently launched Courage to Change — our new PAC to help fight for working-class challengers and politically courageous incumbents.

Our team has been hard at work interviewing and supporting a variety of candidates for their upcoming elections. You may have already seen a few endorsements!

But we wanted to take a moment and hear your thoughts about the direction of this movement and see if you have any feedback about our progressive fight.

Can you take just a minute to fill out our March survey right now? Your answers will be anonymized, analyzed, and sent to Alexandria for review:

Thanks for your time, it really does make a big difference.

In solidarity,

Team AOC
