Dear Neighbor,  I've lived two blocks away from the Kingsbridge Armory for more than 22 years. Since I was elected in 2010, I have been committed to amplifying the voices of my neighbors about what the Armory should become. We have made sure that the development of this historic asset is led by our community and benefits our community.  I was able to secure more than $100 million in the state budget exclusively dedicated to development of the Kingsbridge Armory and we'll make sure those funds remain allocated to this project this year.

We need you to be involved in this unprecedented community engagement process. Join me at the upcoming public workshop, take a community tour, and make your voice heard. This is the Bronx's Armory! SATURDAY: Make your voice heard at the Kingsbridge Armory Public Workshop!

When: Saturday, March 18th at 12pm Where: Lehman College, Music Building  The Bronx is going to decide how we transform the Kingsbridge Armory through a Community Visioning Process. We're making sure that the development benefits our community directly, that the plan includes co-ownership, shared wealth, and co-governance, and that the process has the community at the center from planning to opening. The vision document that you help create will shape the request for proposals for projects at the Kingsbridge Armory, so show up and help decide our future!
