ANNUAL EASTER EGG-STRAVAGANZA

Council Member Rafael Salamanca, Jr. had the pleasure of attending the 41st Precinct’s Easter Egg Hunt and PSA 7’s Annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza!

I congratulate the 41st Precinct Council President, Ray Arroyo, and PSA 7 Precinct Council President, Barbara Holmes, for their commendable work putting on these wonderful events for our community. 

STREET CO-NAMING IN HONOR OF
ANGELLYH MARIEH YAMBO
 

Council Member Salamanca joined Mayor Eric Adams, CM Pierina Sanchez, Bronx DA Darcel Clarke, and Borough President Vanessa Gibson to pay tribute to the 1-year anniversary of Bronx teen Angellyh Marieh Yambo’s death during a street co-naming ceremony on Saturday. Angellyh was a young woman filled with determination to help her community who sadly lost her life early due to senseless gun violence.

Rather than allowing Angellyh’s light to disappear after this tragedy, her family turned their grief into purpose, devoting her legacy to the incredible work currently being performed by the Angellyh Yambo Foundation.

With the unveiling of ‘Angellyh Marieh Yambo Way’ — located across from her childhood home — Angellyh’s spirit lives and shines on.
