NYC’s general election is next Tuesday, November 7, and early voting begins today!
Here’s some other useful information you may need to know:
- Today is the last day to register to vote. Check your voter registration here→
If you have a NY State ID, register online here.
If you don’t, visit your local NYC Board of Elections office and register in-person. - While there are no federal or statewide races this year, there is at least one city- or borough-wide race happening in your neighborhood, ranging from City Council seats to district attorney elections in The Bronx, Queens, and Staten Island.

And last reminder: registered voters do not need to show ID to vote! You will only need ID if you are a first-time voter who registered by mail and did not provide identification.
