The budget has now been cut 10%... and counting.
Cutting the budget means eliminating all POP workers.
Parks Opportunity Program (POP) is a 30+ year-old workforce development initiative at NYC Parks. POP workers pick up garbage, remove graffiti, and clean restrooms.
VCPA will step up to the plate and work to fill the gap.
