Bronx Community Board and Precinct Council Appreciation Barbecue by Councilman Rafael Salamanca

The Bronx Zoo's Dancing Crane Pavilion was host to Councilman Rafael Salamanca's Bronx Community Board and Precinct Council Appreciation Barbecue Saturday afternoon. The Dancing Crane Pavilion had a spread of food set out for the board and council members from barbecued chicken, hamburgers, and hot dogs, to several varieties of salad topped off with slices of watermelon and various types of beverages.

Representatives of most Bronx Community Boards and Precinct Councils were on hand to meet each other and have a good time. Councilman Salamanca gave a brief speech thanking those who were in attendance,  as the  music and good time continued. Candidate for Council District 17 in the 2025 City Council election Mr. Freddy Perez Jr. was introduced by Councilman Salamanca as his choice to replace him in the City Council when Councilman Salamanca is term limited out of the City Council January 1, 2026.
