Housing Lottery Launches for 265 Logan Street in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn

 


The affordable housing lottery has launched for 265 Logan Street, a 13-story affordable housing building in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn. Designed by MHG Architects and developed in collaboration by The Hudson Companies, The Jericho Project, and HELP US, the structure yields 174 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 68 units for residents at 40 to 70 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $36,720 to $134,820.

Amenities include bike storage lockers, a shared laundry room, gym, recreation room, elevator, and outdoor areas. Units are equipped with energy-efficient appliances, air conditioning, and high-speed internet. Tenants are responsible for electric including stove. Heating, cooling, and hot water are included in the rent.

At 40 percent of the AMI, there are four one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $994 for incomes ranging from $36,720 to $55,920; seven two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,185 for incomes ranging from $44,092 to $67,080; and three three-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,359 for incomes ranging from $50,846 to $77,040.

At 50 percent of the AMI, there are two one-bedroom with a monthly rent of $1,285 for incomes ranging from $46,698 to $69,900; four two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,534 for incomes ranging from $56,058 to $83,850; and three three-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,763 for incomes ranging from $64,698 to $96,300.

At 60 percent of the AMI, there are six one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,577 for incomes ranging from $56,709 to $83,880; 11 two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,884 for incomes ranging from $68,058 to $100,620; and six three-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,167 for incomes ranging from $78,549 to $115,560.

At 70 percent of the AMI, there are six one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $1,868 for incomes ranging from $66,686 to $97,860; 11 two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,233 for incomes ranging from $80,023 to $117,390; and five three-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,571 for incomes ranging from $92,400 to $134,820.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than February 10, 2025.
