Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson - Community Resources & Updates

Dear Neighbor,

As the temperature begins to increase, it reminds us that we are a few days away from the start of summer. That means we will be spending more time outdoors at our city`s parks and beaches with loved ones. Temperatures are also expected to rise significantly in the next few days. Not only can extreme heat be uncomfortable, but it can also be dangerous, especially for our most vulnerable residents. Understand your risk and make a plan. If you do not have air conditioning in your home, you might be eligible to apply for HEAP (the Home Energy Assistance Program). Click here for more information on how you can keep yourself and your loved ones safe this summer.

Cleanliness Issues in Your Neighborhood:

We want to hear from you! Which areas need enhanced clean-up services? Fill out this form to let us know!

Youth Services:

As the weather gets warmer, we want to ensure our youth have access to fun, enriching, and safe activities throughout the summer. Starting next week, a dedicated Youth Resource Page will be available on our website, featuring programs, events, and opportunities across the borough. We encourage families to explore these resources and help our young people make the most of their summer break.
