That means we will be spending more time outdoors at our city`s parks and beaches with loved ones. Temperatures are also expected to rise significantly in the next few days. Not only can extreme heat be uncomfortable, but it can also be dangerous, especially for our most vulnerable residents. Understand your risk and make a plan. If you do not have air conditioning in your home, you might be eligible to apply for HEAP (the Home Energy Assistance Program).
