
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1435 East Gun Hill Road, a five-story residential building in Baychester, The Bronx. Designed by Anthony Somefun and developed by Brian O’Donovan of Excel Wood Holdings LLC, the structure yields 20 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are four units for residents at 80 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $81,875 to $116,640.
All units are brand new and thoughtfully designed for comfortable living. Residences have access to a shared laundry room. Tenants are responsible for electricity, including stove, hot water, and heating.
At 80 percent of the AMI, there are four one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,188 for incomes ranging from $81,875 to $116,640.
Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than April 29, 2026.
