Atom Moore: Second Nature

Still life and product photographer Atom Moore has built a career in macro photography, taking extreme close-ups of small subjects to capture the minute details that are typically missed by the unaided eye. Through this project of closely observing the garden with his camera, discover how Moore captures evidence of nature’s deep design and constant transformation.

Migrating birds pass over Wave Hill each spring, singing, and warbling as they go. Some even stop here and treat us to a birdy concert! With the music of migratory birds for inspiration, sculpt and paint your own feathered friends.

Family Falconry Presentation: Meet the Raptors!

Designed specifically for families with younger children, this engaging presentation with live birds highlights different types of birds of prey, also known as raptors. Brian and Teddy Bradley introduce some of their favorite feathered friends to families and explain about the adaptations that make these birds so amazing! Recommended for younger children. 

 

Falconry Presentation: Skyhunters in Flight

Back by popular demand, master falconer Brian Bradley and his beautiful, beloved raptors return for a live bird presentation! Watch trained birds of prey sharpen their hunting skills during an exciting outdoor flight demonstration. Hear about the ancient sport of falconry and learn more about raptors from around the world as they fly overhead.  Ages seven and older welcome with an adult.
