Starting Friday April1, 2022 the New York State COVID-19 Update press release will be issued Monday through Friday. Daily data will continue to be available at the New York State Department of Health's online COVID tracker: ny.gov/covid19data

This was no April Fool's Joke by Governor Hochul as the positive rate has been steadily increasing over the past two weeks from its lowest levels in a long time.
