Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson - News, Resources, and Updates

Dear Neighbors,

Yesterday, Governor Kathy Hochul signed into law new legislation to further protect reproductive choice and freedom across New York State. The United States is waiting anxiously for the Supreme Court to announce its decision on Roe v. Wade but here in New York, we will always protect a woman’s right to access safe and quality reproductive care.

Mayor Eric Adams and NYC Council Speaker Adrienne Adams also announced last week an agreement on the city budget which will include increased funding for parks, public safety, education, childcare and address quality of life issues in our city. We will share more information soon on how the budget will directly impact our borough.

Lastly, we want to invite you to our Bronx Pride & Allies Celebration happening this Wednesday (tomorrow!) at Rosa’s at Park from 6pm - 10pm. Please register here.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office at 718-590-3500 or email us at webmail@bronxbp.nyc.gov

In partnership,
Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson
