Park Clean Up Mondays Tuesday, July 5 (Okay… not a Monday!) Mondays: July 11, 18, 25 - Meet at 9 am Start the week off right, and join VCPA in picking up litter in Van  Cortlandt Park. RSVP Now Meet at VC Golf House. Water Chestnut Wednesdays Wednesdays in July - Meet at 9 am VCPA leads the effort in removing harmful plant species, like water  chestnut. Join us! Put on a pair of waders or hop in a canoe, all the  while helping improve the health of the pond. RSVP Now Meet at VC Golf House. Forest Restoration Fridays Fridays in July - Meet at 9 am Get your hands in the dirt as we focus on removal of non-indigenous  plant species within the floodplain forest of Tibbetts Brook. Wear  closed-toe shoes and long pants; bring water and a snack. RSVP Now Meet at VC Golf House.   Garden Volunteer Days Tuesdays: July 12, 19 - 10 am to 1pm The VCPA Garden & Compost Site needs you this summer! Our  newly expanded garden needs lots of help to weed, water, and  harvest veggies for donation to the Friendly Fridge BX and to use  for cooking demonstrations at our weekly market.  RSVP Now Meet at VCPA Garden & Compost Site.
