Dear Neighbors,
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to shed light on the importance of early detection, my office and the American-Italian Cancer Foundation, will be providing no-cost mammograms this Saturday from 9 AM to 4:30 PM at my office, 3040 E Tremont Avenue, Bronx, NY 10461.
As our communities experience an increase in breast cancer diagnosis, we must provide critical resources and services to our neighbors. It’s our responsibility to stay vigilant and encourage our loved ones to get screened before it’s too late.
Eligibility Requirements
Must be a woman between the ages of 40-79
NYC Resident
No mammogram in the past 12 months
If you or someone you know has been directly impacted by breast cancer and would like to schedule a mammogram, please call my office at 718-931-1721 or email District13@council.nyc.gov.
