Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 2282 Bronx Park East in Bronxwood, The Bronx. Located between Waring Avenue and Thwaites Place, the lot is near the Pelham Parkway subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Aleksander Haxhari is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 75-foot-tall development will yield 32,181 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 53 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 607 square feet. The steel-based structure will also have a cellar, a 51-foot-long rear yard, and 16 open parking spaces.
Fred Geremia Architects & Planners is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed in May for the residential building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
