After seven wonderful years at The Bronx Museum, our Executive Director Klaudio Rodriguez is stepping down this fall and moving back to his home state of Florida.
The staff and Board of the Museum wish him all the best and we extend our gratitude for his dedication and leadership!
While the Board conducts a national search for the next Executive Director, Bronx Museum executive staff members Shirley Solomon, Deputy Director, and Yvonne Garcia, Chief Advancement Officer—who collectively have more than two decades of experience at the Museum—will co-lead the organization.
The staff and Board of the Museum continue to bring you world-class contemporary art exhibitions—like the exciting FUTURA 2000 retrospective opening this fall—and vital cultural enrichment that is always free for everyone to participate in and enjoy.
A transformative renovation of The Bronx Museum’s campus is also currently underway and expected to be completed in 2026. This new state-of-the-art facility will further enhance our programming so we can better serve the people of The Bronx and beyond for many more decades to come!
