Welcome to our Weekly Newsletter! 





Dear Friends/Neighbors, 

 

This week, I had the pleasure of attending various community events within our district, including a business grand opening, several Christmas tree lighting ceremonies, and toy giveaways. As we approach the holiday season, my office is actively seeking toy donations for underserved children in our community. 

 

In this newsletter you will find additional information about our toy drive as well as details regarding upcoming events in the district. 

 

As always, if you need help with a City Agency contact my office at: 

718-931-1721. We are open from Monday - Thursday 9 AM - 5 PM and Fridays from 9 AM - 2 PM. We offer FREE casework services to help our residents of District 13.

Grand Opening 🎉



Councilwoman Marmorato attended the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting ceremony for CONNECT RE Corp, which is owned by one of our very own constituents!


We offer our heartfelt congratulations on the launch of this new real estate office in the Bronx. It is truly amazing to witness our constituents and businesses in neighboring communities flourish in the Bronx!


Cookies and Cocoa at Morris Park Community Association 🎅🍪☕




Last Saturday, Councilwoman Marmorato and the Morris Park Community Association launched the holiday season with a 'Cookies and Cocoa' event.


Together, they held a successful event filled with family-friendly activities, including arts and crafts, as well as toy giveaways. A highlight at the event was the opportunity to take photos with our special guest from the North Pole, Santa Claus, who truly brought the holiday spirit to life.


Thank you to all who attended, and a special shot out to the Morris Park Community Association for their efforts in helping to spread holiday cheer throughout our community.


Tree Lighting with The Waterbury LaSalle Association 🎄🎶



It was a lively weekend with several tree lightings in D13! On Saturday, Councilwoman Marmorato stopped by the Waterbury LaSalle Association's Annual Christmas Tree lighting in Schneider Sampson Park.


The event featured music, gifts, cookies, hot chocolate, and even Santa Claus!


Thank you for lighting up our community for this holiday season!


Christmas Tree Lighting De-light with Throggs Neck BID 🎄🌟



Embracing the Holiday Spirit, One Tree Lighting at a Time (or a Few)…


On Sunday, Councilwoman Marmorato joined the Throggs Neck BID for their tree lighting celebration.


This festive event was co-sponsored by the Councilwoman along with other local colleagues in the Bronx, offering a holiday extravaganza for attendees. Featuring music, snacks, gifts for children, and a special appearance by Santa!


Van Nest Neighborhood Alliance 11th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting🧸🎁



Sunday-fun! Councilwoman Marmorato joined the Van Nest Neighborhood Alliance's 11th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting celebration. She collaborated for this festive occasion and donated toys for their toy giveaway!


This was a wonderful way to share holiday cheer with our community members and their families. Thank you to the Van Nest Neighborhood Alliance for bringing joy and illumination to our community.


Meeting with Throggs Neck BID and Allerton Ave Merchants Association



Councilwoman Marmorato invited the Throggs Neck BID and Allerton Ave Merchants Association to discuss important topics like safety, community, and enhancements.


Together, we are fostering collaboration to explore enhancements to benefit District 13.
