We are excited to announce the return of Bronx Week 2025 from May 5th to May 18th! This annual celebration honors the incredible people and places that make the Bronx the best place to live, work, visit, and raise a family. From our rich history to our vibrant culture, Bronx Week is a time to come together and celebrate everything that makes our borough unique.

This year, we're thrilled to bring back the People’s Choice Award, where YOU get to vote for the standout individuals in media and entertainment who have made a lasting impact in our community. We’re accepting nominations for these exceptional individuals who’ve helped shape our borough’s cultural landscape. If you know someone who fits this description, please submit a nomination by April 4th, 2025.

Last week, we proudly attended the NYS My Sister’s Keeper launch, reaffirming our commitment to empowering young women and fostering leadership, mentorship, and success. Together, we are building a brighter future for our sisters in the Bronx and beyond! 

We delivered our 2025 State of the Borough Address, highlighting our bold vision to Secure the Bronx and Protect Our Future!

From capping the Cross Bronx Expressway and expanding affordable housing to investing in education, employment, maternal health, job creation, public safety and preserving our green spaces, we are committed to building a stronger, safer, and more vibrant Bronx for all.

Thank you to our incredible emcee Debralee Santos, performers, faith leaders, BronxNet television, Lehman College, and everyone who attended last night for their partnership and support.

Together, we will keep delivering for the Bronx, making meaningful investments that uplift our residents and their families.

Lights, camera, action! We celebrated the grand opening of the new Regal movie theater at Concourse Plaza—a major win for the Bronx! This state-of-the-art theater is more than just a place to watch movies; it’s a beacon of entertainment, community, and revitalization for our borough.

A huge thank you to The Feil Organization for their commitment to bringing high-quality entertainment back to our neighborhood. After the closure of the Concourse Multiplex, our community felt the loss—but today, we turn the page and step into a new era of cinematic magic, economic growth, and opportunity.

The Bronx deserves investment and opportunity—which proves that when we work together, great things happen. See you at the movies!
