Dear Neighbors,
This week, we continued our commitment to supporting our community in FDNY, celebrating a retirement, and other celebrations. It is always a joy to engage with our amazing community and ensure we keep providing valuable events that meet the needs of our constituents.
In this newsletter, you will find details about the district events that took place this week, along with information on various upcoming events we have planned.
It is an honor to represent you in the New York City Council and continue fighting to keep our community safe, healthy, and prosperous!
Sincerely,
Councilwoman Kristy Marmorato

Walk-through with FDNYFC
On Friday Aprill 11th, Councilwoman Kristy Marmorato joined FDNY First Deputy Commissioner Tucker for an in-depth walk-through of EMS Station 20 and Engine 72—two essential facilities serving the heart of our district.
With deep family roots in the FDNY, the Councilwoman has always carried a strong personal connection to the department and a deep appreciation for the everyday heroism of our city’s first responders. Her visit was a reaffirmation of her commitment to supporting those who put their lives on the line for our safety.
She was honored to be joined by members of the FDNY Fire Marshals and the Uniformed Firefighters Association, both of whom play critical roles in not only protecting our communities but also advocating for the needs and rights of fire and EMS professionals.
To the brave men and women of the FDNY: thank you. Your courage, dedication, and service inspire us all. We see you, we support you, and we will continue to champion your work at City Hall,
