Housing Lottery Launches for 2070 Honeywell Avenue in West Farms, The Bronx

 


The affordable housing lottery has launched for 2070 Honeywell Avenue, a seven-story residential building in West Farms, The Bronx. Designed by Badaly Architects and developed by David Pllumbi, the structure yields 54 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 17 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $83,658 to $218,010.

Residences are equipped with energy-efficient appliances, air conditioning, hardwood floors, a shared laundry room, and intercom. Building amenities include a recreation room, package lockers, an on-site resident manager, bike storage, storage, and garage parking. Tenants are responsible for electricity, which includes stove, heat, and hot water.

At 130 percent of the AMI, there are three studios with a monthly rent of $2,440 for incomes ranging from $83,658 to $161,590; ten one-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,484 for incomes ranging from $85,166 to $181,740; and four two-bedrooms with a monthly rent of $2,762 for incomes ranging from $94,698 to $218,010.

Prospective renters must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be postmarked or submitted online no later than May 1, 2025.
