HIGHLIGHTS
World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims Join Families for Safe Streets, Transportation Alternatives, Bronx and citywide elected officials, and local community organizations! Commemorate the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims this Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Gil Scott-Heron Amphitheater at St. Mary's Park (St. Ann's Ave. & E 146th St. in the Bronx). This will be the first time ever this citywide event will be held in the Bronx. The event will commemorate all those killed and seriously injured in traffic violence, offer support for their families, and call for the passage of the Stop Super Speeders bill in the New York State Legislature. All 197 New Yorkers who lost their lives to traffic violence since last year's commemoration, 29 of whom were in crashes in the Bronx, will be honored, and every New Yorker lost to traffic violence will be remembered.
