Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 2968 Valentine Avenue in Bedford Park, The Bronx. Located between Bedford Park Boulevard and East 201st Street, the lot is one block from the Bedford Park Boulevard subway station, served by the B and D trains. Franc Gjini of Paramount Homes Management is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The proposed 69-foot-tall development will yield 15,953 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 31 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 514 square feet. The masonry-based structure will also have a cellar and a 20-foot-long rear yard.
Jakov Saric of Node Architecture, Engineering, Consulting is listed as the architect of record.
Demolition permits were filed earlier this month for the two-story residential building on the site. An estimated completion date has not been announced.
