The NYGOP released the following statement after an unruly mob in Central Park assaulted two members of the NYPD:
"Yesterday's mob attack on New York City police officers is a direct consequence of the lawless culture that Zohran Mamdani and the radical left have spent years cultivating. When you vilify police, you empower the mob.
"Kathy Hochul's weak, feckless leadership has made New Yorkers less safe.
If we want to restore respect for the rule of law and back the brave men and women of the NYPD, there is only one way to fight back: elect Bruce Blakeman and put strong, unapologetic leadership back in charge.”
