Share what's growing in your garden with us, enter the 2026

GreenThumb Harvest Fair Competition by July 31st!


A submission in the Special Category from Olivet Heavenly Harvest garden group in 
Staten Island with harvest that they distribute to their community every Saturday. In this 
category, GreenThumb community gardeners submit a photograph of a culturally relevant 
flower, fruit, herb, or vegetable that they or their garden group grew with a two to

Do you think you've harvested an award winner? 

GreenThumb gardeners, show off your abundance by sending 
us your photos of veggies, herbs, flowers, and fruit growing 
in your garden! For guidelines and to submit your harvest, 
Form by Friday, July 31, 2026. Photos of what you grew 
earlier in the season are eligible to be entered into the 
competition as well!

Are you a Home Gardener?

Submit your best herb, flower, and/or produce grown on 
your windowsills, backyards, front yards, or rooftops this 
year to the "Home Gardeners” category! This category is 
for members of the public who are not GreenThumb 
community gardeners.

For guidelines and to submit your harvest, please fill out the 

Harvest Fair Competition Submission Form (bit.ly/GTHFCompetition) by Friday, July 31st!

We now accept Harvest Fair Competition submissions on a 

rolling basis. Entries submitted after July 31st of each year will 

be considered for the following year.

46th Annual GreenThumb Harvest Fair

A panel of experienced growers will decide the winners in 

advance, and they will be announced during our Harvest 

Fair on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Herbert Von King 

Park and Hattie Carthan Community Garden in Bed-Stuy. 

Gardeners who enter the competition are encouraged to 

bring their submissions, if possible, to our Harvest Fair 

on October 3rd. We will have a place to display your entries 

during the day.
