GrowNYC Education
GrowNYC Education and New York City Parks GreenThumb are teaming up to give NYCPS K-12 public and charter schools free deliveries of garden soil, compost, mulch, and/or lumber for their school gardens and outdoor learning spaces.
We have limited capacity, so make requests early!
Schools will be prioritized based on highest economic need index, the school's intended use of the materials, schools that have not received materials previously, and schools in underserved geographic zones.
If you would like to apply for a delivery for your school, follow the link below, read the requirements, and fill out the form. Schools must have an up-to-date registration with GrowNYC to be eligible. The deadline to apply is October 16, 2026, or while supplies last.
